Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a mixed experience with spacious rooms featuring a noisy heater and a fireplace, but a location a bit far from the resort with limited transportation. The service at the village was exceptional in being helpful and kind, although there were issues with fixing the AC. The location offered convenience within the village but required a ride to reach Northstar resort. Overall, the facilities were satisfying.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, nestled in the forest and offering a charming and immaculate atmosphere. The location is great for families with kids, and it's conveniently close to Northstar Village and various activities in North Tahoe. Although a bit pricey, the comfort and cleanliness made it worth it.
The lodge offers spacious rooms with unexpected amenities like a fireplace, though a minor delay occurred during check-in. The service from various staff members, including ski patrol and waiters, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The serene location near the lifts and village, with charming surroundings, enhances the relaxing stay. The dining experience and facilities further complement the overall enjoyable visit.
The hotel's rooms were small, stuffy, and lacked AC or fans, but they were always ready before check-in. Unfortunately, there was a strong chemical odor, forcing us to keep the windows open all the time. On the bright side, the hotel offered access to hot tub and gym facilities.
The hotel's location was outstanding, nestled in a charming forest setting with easy access to the resort via a shuttle. The rooms were outdated and located quite a distance from the main area, impacting convenience. Service was friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. Dining options were not specified, but the picturesque surroundings made dining out an appealing choice for guests.
The hotel had some drawbacks, such as the rooms not matching the photos and being far from the resort with limited transportation. The unpleasant smell in the room led me to report the issue to the staff. However, the access to the spa facility, although not very close, was a nice addition.
